Strengthening Team Resiliency to Improve Quality of Care

Strengthening Team Resiliency seeks to improve the teamwork of our staff and increase the quality of care provided to youth in care. Teams will engage in skill-building activities that focus on verbal and non-verbal communication strategies, developing and promoting empathy, and overcoming obstacles to care. 

Participants will practice these skills in a friendly and welcoming environment. Activities and role playing give the participants the opportunity to use the skills we are developing in low-pressure situations that may mimic a high-pressure situation, giving them a sense of what it feels like to put these skills to work.
